This is an awful story, and shows how harmful addiction is. This may put things into perspective for some, given the recent topics of conversation here.

Don’t let it get this far. Gambling is not a feasible coping mechanism, it may help distract you in the short term, but it will only make things worse eventually.

There is support out there if you feel you have a problem, not least of which, Gamstop, which is an excellent system in preventing you from gambling online.
