9 Days, no reply from Videoslots

    On the 17th I raised a complaint with Videoslots regarding being short-changed on their slots battles. Despite being told it was “forwarded to management and any missing winnings will be refunded”, I’ve heard nothing since and nothing appears to have been done. Perhaps they read this forum, if not I just wanted to make any UK players aware that they’re being shafted on the slots battles…

    I believe a mistake has been made regarding the GBP/EUR exchange rates on
    the slots battles.

    I will use the 100 euro battle I played on Saturday as an example.
    The buy-in of 100 euro debited my account £87.94 (79.15 entry +8.79 fee)
    I won the battle for 700 euro and was paid £609.45. This works out at a
    rate of £87.06 per 100 euro (609.45/7)

    The battle lobby for that tournament showed the correct prize of £615.58
    (87.94*7) as shown in the attached screenshot, however, I was only paid
    £609.45 (15/02/19 23:51:02 GMT Battle Prize Money 609.45)

    I also won the joker bonus which was paid at the same incorrect rate. So in
    this tournament alone, I was short-changed over £10.

    I’ve checked this with other slots tournaments and believe this error is
    the same across all tournaments. Over the course of the hundreds of
    tournaments I’ve played, it adds up very quickly and I believe I may be out
    of pocket by as much as £200 due to this error.

    I’d appreciate it if this could be fixed as I enjoy playing the slots
    tournaments. I also know it might be a pain to calculate but I’d also very
    much appreciate if you could refund me the money I’ve been short-changed
    for across all tournaments.

    I remember mate cos I said about the USD on poker stars been different deposting to withdrawing . Sorry to say I don’t think your complaint is going anywhere.

    Yeah I recall that. This is a bit different though because that rate only applies to deposits/withdrawals. It’s also explained in the fine print of their T&Cs.

    The exchange rate used for buying into tourneys/cash games is the exact same rate used to pay you out when you’re done. Which, unless stated otherwise, should be the same over at Videoslots. Otherwise, it’s just straight up theft.

    Also, the lobby itself displays the correct payout on Videoslots. (i.e, the example I used and screenshot I sent them clearly said £615 for 1st and I was paid £609.)

    That nothing, I had an issue with Videoslots on 17th December – was on a roll and doing $25/$50$100 spins on a slot- long story short the game screwed up.

    I filed a complaint was told will have a response within 24 hours, great this will get solved quickly.

    Fast forward few reminders and days later – nothing

    26th Dec A full week later raised issue again I felt like I was out of pocket about $275.00 ish, so  I was understandably pi*sed and wanted this looked at  – was informed by support I should not be so impatient as this issue was just raised the day before !!! [No was 8 days before]

    They realize mistake and was told I would have an answer with 24/48 Hours, so this issue should be resolved by 28th Dec latest….

    December ends, January Starts still nothing, I call again 2nd Jan I think – we are looking into you will have a reply 100% within 24/48 hours – we are sorry, staff changes, office changes and Xmas caused delays.

    Gets to 7th January I lose it  – tell them, that’s its it’s been 24/48 hours for the last close to 3 weeks – I get a call from manager of whole area – Chap called Pontus Wickland – he tells me how sorry they are; he is dealing with it now, only speak to him – and have a $100 bonus cash for them not replying – I’m weary to accept as I’ve found video slots – real shady when it comes to compensation – I clarify – this $100 is for you guys forgetting about me NOT the $275.00 I am out of pocket, he assures me YES ! – and a decision on the $275.00 will be completed by close of business – if not within 24/48 hours [oh no not that again !].

    Now that part was a physical phone conversation; so I felt as the boss called me, he boss gave me his word  – I actually felt like shits gonna get done – and that $100 bonus bought them some time, so when Friday came [The 48th hour AGAIN!] an went – I let it slide.

    Gets to the end of the following week, times up  – I call to speak to Pontus; first two days, no one would acknowledge that a Pontus worked at Videoslots lets alone he is the boss ! …., I’m starting to feel like I am in the twilight, a zone. After day 4 [This is now around 18th January a FULL MONTH LATER] – I have now found a way to reference Pontus and support staff now acknowledge who he is – he originally told me on the phone conversation if I had not had a result to call him directly, now I’m trying to and no one is letting me speak with him.

    We go another week of me contacting support and asking Pontus to get in touch, forgot to mention I am on the west coast of Canada so I am staying up to 2-3am to try and catch them in the am – I am beyond pulling my hair out and now support just think I  am insane and keep telling me they will contact me once they have heard back from game supplier –  I’m like great, but that’s not what I want or why I am calling, I want to follow up with Pontus as directed BY HIM !!!!

    Its now a week later, still no where – I go rouge, I track down Pontus on Linked-in, Facebook and Instagram – and personally message him 2 days in a row, twice a day. On the third day – Support contacts me that they are now looking into this – and will have a result within ….. you guessed it 24/48 hours, you literally can’t make this sh*t up.

    AND HERE IS THE CHERRY ON THE CAKE

    I did get a reply 24 later, I was told there was no error, and I had already received $100 compensation in Dec and would not receive ANY more !!!!!! –  I blew lid, freaking lost it – the poor person on the chat had me ream them out for an hour – my fingers were bleeding I was typing so angry – they offer me another $100 – I accepted I was a broken man at that point !!!

    So yeah 9 days is nothing !!!!!

    An now I have another issue with them – they have my account locked til I can prove source of funds – I run a small business and they expect me to provide them with all my business accounts; I wont do that; I have asked for alternatives; they have given me NONE – also; arguing for me to be suspected of money laundering, I actually have to make a withdrawal –  basically the definition of “washing funds”   – been Aug since that happened; support staff are kinda special needs – the ones I get to speak with either second guess your question before you have finished asking it, then just copy and paste a generic reply….     Wow Bucky, that sucks. I might give them a call instead of emailing tomorrow.

    It’s been over 2 weeks now. What pisses me off is that it’s something that can be verified in 5 minutes. Meanwhile, UK players participating in slots battles are being blatantly ripped off. (It may only be 1-2% per transaction, but that adds up very quickly. Imagine 1p disappearing into the ether every time you spin a slot…)

    Just cut the losses, i had mine blocked twice. Once for someone using the same details as me, even though i had been a member for 1 to 2 years, then the second time they did not state why.

    Ever since since dan left then the rolling out of this new system of account management, wagering for freerolls,jackpot wheels, lower RTPs on numerous providers for certain countries. Its gone just like every other generic casino.

    Seems to be alot of bad press for video slots recently. I know many will not have a single problem in the time they play there but the problems that seem to be arising are for numerous reasons which must be alarming for the customers who play there. I’m still wondering when the inevitable post comes from someone where they have been verified. No t’s and c’s have been breached. Not on gamstop. Not self excluded on a sister site and the massive win is confiscated for fear of money laundering purposes. Proof of wealth seems to be the new get out for sites.

    In all fairness, notwithstanding the dodgy dealings of the casino, If I owned a small business, was doing $100 spins on slots and was eventually shortchanged by $75, I’m not sure I would have put that much effort in and been a broken man :-). You would have just lost it on one spin anyway.

    The source if wealth one always makes me chuckle- it seems it’s Ok to take drug dealers money but not pay it out – and if I was a large scale drug dealer and couldn’t think of any other way to launder my cash than playing slots (given that I would have to have paid it into a bank account first anyway) I would be pondering whether I had actually made a wise career choice

    Dune2000 ; I don’t often play $100 spins, but I find if I hit a couple of good bonuses in a row I double my stake, Had the same thing recently  – with Monopoly Money in the Hand – I’m a player @$1-$3; worked up to $100/$200 spins due to no loss – took $18,200 Jackpot, and a Fat Rabbit, noramlly a player @.50 / $1 but went  up to $50 spins and took $17K –

    Its more of the principle of it all – Especially if the Manager tells you he will call you directly; and when you follow up you are made to feel you spoke with a person that does not even work their !

    I’m personally over VS, not even sure how they achieved so many awards over at casinomeister.

    Lowering the RTP on pLay n go slots was dodgy, makes me wonder what else they have lowerd on, maybe that’s why jammin jars on their site allways kills me. Maybe they saw all these giant wins on YouTube and thought shit we better lower the rtp before it gets out of hand.

    well that’s my rant last night was a bad night on jammin jars lol
